The book addresses themes of strong social impact, such as domestic violence and female migration. The story was created based on thorough research and meetings with real women who have found themselves in similar situations and shelters.
A series of public presentations were organized in collaboration with Italian associations and municipalities in cities such as Milan and others, featuring dialogue-based events that engaged diverse audiences. During one of the private events, the story from the book was staged as a theatre performance.
